The Henry Singers, formerly known as
the Henry Community Chorus, was organized in May 1994 by Dr. Edward
Bridges. The vision then was to provide area singers the opportunity
to perform a wide variety of choral music and to enrich the community
through its choral performances. Today, the mission of the Henry Singers
is much the same. Now under the direction of Diane Scarbrough, the Henry
Singers has transitioned into a versatile group with a broad collection
of performance pieces. The Henry Singers is comprised of local vocalists
who prepare and present a variety of musical styles to the people of
Henry County and the surrounding areas. From formal concerts to theme
based programs and community outreach performances, the Henry Singers
is privileged to promote the art of music in our community.
